Gardy & Notis, LLP achieves $10 million settlement in Sauer-Danfoss Stockholder Litigation

Gardy & Notis, LLP has been appointed by the Court as lead counsel for former stockholders of Sauer-Danfoss, Inc. challenging a conflicted transaction whereby Sauer-Danfoss's controlling stockholder, Danfoss A/S, merged out public stockholders for $58.50 per share.

Gardy & Notis, LLP successfully litigated the case through motions to dismiss, class certification, full merits and expert discovery, summary judgment and other pre-trial motions. Roughly five weeks before the start of trial, Gardy & Notis, LLP achieved a settlement whereby Defendants would pay an extra $10 million to former Sauer-Danfoss stockholders, subject to Court approval.

The case is In re Sauer-Danfoss, Inc. Stockholder Litigation, C.A. No. 8396-VCL, Delaware Court of Chancery.
