MARK C. GARDY Mr. Gardy’s accomplishments include the class action securities litigation against Waste Management, Inc., where, as one of the plaintiffs’ co-lead counsel, a recovery of $220 million was obtained (at the time, the largest settlement since the enactment of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995). Mr. Gardy was one of the plaintiffs’ co lead counsel in the hostile takeover battle between Viacom, Inc. and QVC Network for Control of Paramount Communications, Inc.

Mr. Gardy received his B.A. from Rutgers University in 1981, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, with high honors. He received his J.D, cum laude, from New York Law School in 1984. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Gardy has served on panels for the Council of Institutional Investors and on a panel on D&O Liability Insurance for the American Conference Institute. He has been featured on CNBC’s Squawk Box and in The New York Times.

Prior to forming Gardy & Notis, LLP, Mr. Gardy was a named partner in the law firm Abbey Gardy, LLP.

JAMES S. NOTIS Mr. Notis has litigated numerous cases resulting in multi-million dollar recoveries for investors. Some of Mr. Notis’ successes include: In re Bank America Corp. Sec. Litig., MDL No. 1264 (E.D. Mo.) ($490 million); In re Waste Mgmt. Inc., Sec. Litig., No. 97-C-7709 (N.D. Ill.) ($220 million); In re SFX Entertain’t Inc. Sec. Litig., C.A. No. 17818-NC (Del. Ch.) ($34.5 million); In re Travelers Property Casualty Corp. Sec. Litig., C.A. No. 17902-NC (Del. Ch.) ($25.7 million); and Lang v. The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc., C.A. No. 19574-NC (Del. Ch.) ($21 million).

Mr. Notis received his B.A. from Brandeis University in 1991 and his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1994. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Prior to forming Gardy & Notis, LLP, Mr. Notis was a partner in the law firm Abbey Gardy, LLP.

CHARLES A. GERMERSHAUSEN Mr. Germershausen received his B.S., cum laude, in Finance from Seton Hall University in 2003 and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2006. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to joining Gardy & Notis, LLP, Mr. Germershausen served as the law clerk to the Honorable Vincent LeBlon, J.S.C. and the Honorable Melvin Gelade, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, for the 2006-2007 term.
